A Professional Coach for Busy Professionals

About Me

I hold a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, New York, NY, and was an active neuroscience researcher and faculty member at two major medical schools in New York City for over ten years (final position: clinical associate professor of Neurology - Albert Einstein College of Medicine). Following my time in academia, I worked for over eight years in Medical Affairs departments (CNS - Psychiatry and Pain) in the pharmaceutical industry, before I discovered my passion for coaching.

About my clients

My clients are fellow professionals, ranging from managers and executives at multinational organizations to small business owners to successful full-time artists. While I started and continue to provide life and executive coaching, it soon became clear that many otherwise very successful business and creative professionals struggle with the particular challenges of recovery from addictive behaviors, ranging from alcohol to drugs to compulsive gambling and overeating and binge eating. Recovery from addiction adds specific challenges to the hectic and stress of everyday life, but those challenges can be dealt with.  To better serve recovery clients, I also trained as a recovery coach and obtained certification as a Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC # 1724). Presently, I work both as a life, executive and  recovery coach. My approach to recovery coaching is life coaching tailored to the need of a professional in recovery. So, whether you are dealing with challenges at work, yearn for a change of your life’s overall direction, or if you could use help dealing with the daily hassles of life without resorting to bad old ways or bad new ways, I might be able to help you.

I work with you to clearly identify values and goals, and help you plan to make the changes you want.  Together, we go over tools and techniques that can help you motivate yourself and maintain clarity.  For recovery clients who are still actively using or doing or who are in the early stages of recovery, I recommend to combine and coordinate our work with addiction specialists.
